We exist because we believe that the most powerful rooms are not the loudest. These are spaces defined not by what they display, but by what they evoke — a mood, a memory, a quiet sense of longing.
The aesthetic we chase
We are often asked to define our style. It is not easily captured in a single word. If pressed, we would call it depth over decoration.
We look for rooms with weight. Velvet upholstery that catches the light and releases it slowly. Walls in colours you cannot name — not quite charcoal, not quite aubergine, somewhere in between. Shadows that are intentional, not accidental. Objects that feel collected over time, not arranged for a photograph.

Why we stay anonymous
Velvet Interiors is curated by a small team of editors and creative professionals. You will not find our names or faces anywhere on this site. This is not an oversight — it is a deliberate choice.
We believe that the moment a curator steps into the frame, the experience changes. The viewer begins to wonder about the person behind the selection rather than losing themselves in the selection itself. We prefer to remain invisible, allowing the spaces we share to occupy your full attention.
What we hope you feel
